Oklahoma Main Street Announces 2013 Award Winners

May 8, 2013

(Oklahoma City, Okla.) – The Oklahoma Main Street Center announced the winners in 20 competitive award categories during the 24th annual Main Street Awards Banquet, May 7, at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum.

“We are pleased to announce the following winners in each of the respective categories,” said Linda Barnett, director of the Oklahoma Main Street program. “All of the entries highlight the wonderful things happening around the state. Through the events, the volunteers, the restoration efforts and all the other things that make our downtowns so great, these award winners prove that Main Streets across Oklahoma are alive and thriving. Congratulations to all the top three finishers and the winners.”

Each award falls under one of the “four points” in the Main Street Approach – Organization, Promotion, Economic Restructuring and Design.
