Jennifer Burge, in her first year as Collinsville FFA Instructor, received flowers and words of appreciation from the senior FFA members Friday. Burge is the 18th Collinsville FFA instructor since Oklahoma's first FFA Chapter was formed here in 1920.

New FFA Officers (Next Year 2013-14) L-R: Leigh Brown (Sentinel). Peyton Bauhaus (Chaplin), Mallorie Humble (Vice-President), Halie Chambers (President), Dakota Fugate (Secretary), Morgan West (Reporter), and Cori Ingram (Treasurer)
"Bear" Roderick was named an Honorary Chapter Farmer (with CHS Principal Jon Coleman making the presentation).
These 2013 FFA seniors symbolically "retired" their jackets ... but couldn't wait to get them back on when the ceremony completed. L-R: Skyler Driggers, Dustin Burch, Colt Compton, Erin Doan, Michaela Branen, and Brianna McKinney.
There were many more awards and presentations made at the banquet Friday ... perhaps I'll receive additional information from the current (or new) reporter soon. -- Ted
Alex Cash (a State FFA Officer) spoke briefly to conclude the banquet. He is an Owasso HS grad but his dad is a CHS grad and his mom teaches at the middle school.
