Hannah's Helping Hands, Inc. — Our Mission
We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization providing financial assistance to families with children battling cancer. Many families need help with the most basic needs for their families during this fight for their child’s life. Some must leave work for months and even years to care for their sick child and the financial loss can be devastating. Our goal is to help as many families being treated locally as possible. We help with basic needs such as gas & food cards, groceries, wigs, utility payments, prescriptions, medical co-payments, rent/housing as well as other expenses. Our referrals come from doctors, nurses and staff at a local children’s hospital in Tulsa as well as our local communities.

Anthony Rodrock Seeks Assist
For Barnabas Prep 2nd Year
Hi my name is Anthony Rodrock. I recently attended a program called Barnabas Prep. Barnabas Prep is a life skill program that teaches young adults to be more independent. This program also teaches the students about God. This program has changed my life forever.

I have grown my faith in god, and also learned that I matter in the eyes of god. When I first got to Barnabas Prep I knew that was something special about this place. I felt like I was at home. I knew I was where god wanted me to be. At Barnabas Prep you don't have have to worry about being different because at Barnabas Prep it doesn't matter.

For more information about Barnabas Prep please visit: www.barnabasprep.com. I will never forget the memories and the friendships I have made. I would like to everyone you who helped me go to to Barnabas Prep last year, you don't know how much that helped me. There is a second year program called Barnabas Prep advanced program.

This program is for second year students where we work at Barnabas Prep. I would love to attend this program.
The program starts Steptember 7th. Any help you could
Give I would really appreciate any help!!!! Checks should be made out Camp Barnabas with an attachment that it is to be applied to the tuition for Anthony Rodrock. Thank you so much for reading this.

Sincerely, Anthony Rodrock!!!! -- (7/17/2013)

Patchworkers
Mary Wood is pictured at the July 9, 2013 Patchworkers Meeting, displaying a quilt she made from 5" blue squares - also known as "nickle squares." Members voted to continue supporting Newborns In Need for the coming year, and Tonya Rosamond presented a program of helpful hints for the quilter.

Saturday, July 13 was the monthly Sew-In at the Library, and several members spent the day sewing, hand-quilting, cutting, pinning, and piecing - and enjoyed a pot luck lunch of salads.

The next Patchworkers meeting is scheduled for August 13, 7 PM, at the Collinsville Library.
