CHS Soccer Seniors played their final home game here Friday. Check back for
their individual graduate pages (~May 1st) for additional senior night photos.

High School Soccer will be having a Chili
Dinner Friday April 19th from 5-8 in the Athletic building
(by the soccer field entrance) $5 for Adults and $3 Children 10
and under. This is also Senior night. Collinsville vs. East Central!!

Megan
Bell (#26) with a shot early in the first half (against East Central) had just
competed in the CHS track meet that finished
just before the girls soccer game start. She didn't score on this shot but made
the first Lady Cards goal later at 15:06 in the first half. I didn't see who
scored the 2nd Collinsville goal (later in the first half). The Collinsville
girls won 2-0.
Lauren
Wilson (#21) took a ball to the face (off the East Central goalie) and put it
into the net but the goal was disallowed by an offside call.
The
Collinsville boys with action here in front of the East Central goal were trailing
0-3 when I left before halftime. -- Ted
This
shot got past diving Collinsville goalie J.B. Hamm.
Senior
Paige Prather got to "play" the final 2 minutes of her last Sallee
Field (Senior Night) game despite a mid-season leg injury/surgery. Ignore the
football sideline as the soccer field extends well past that line (see yellow
line below). She was allowed to stand on the playing field and avoided the action
while her teammates protected their 2-0 lead.
Collinsville
travels to Shawnee Tuesday April 23rd for the season's final game.
