Hannah's Helping Hands, Inc. — Our Mission
We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization providing financial assistance to families with children battling cancer. Many families need help with the most basic needs for their families during this fight for their child’s life. Some must leave work for months and even years to care for their sick child and the financial loss can be devastating. Our goal is to help as many families being treated locally as possible. We help with basic needs such as gas & food cards, groceries, wigs, utility payments, prescriptions, medical co-payments, rent/housing as well as other expenses. Our referrals come from doctors, nurses and staff at a local children’s hospital in Tulsa as well as our local communities.

Premiering for Destination Claremore, FLIPSIDE: the Patti Page Story

Claremore native Clara Ann Fowler’s, famously known as the Singing Rage Miss Patti Page, life story is coming to her hometown. FLIPSIDE: The Patti Page Story premiers during the 3rd Annual Destination Claremore, coming April 27-May 5.

Written and produced by Greg White, producer of UCO’s Broadway Tonight, this musical is a tribute to the highest recording female artists in the 1950’s. Fowler, born in Claremore, became Patti Page when she was featured on Tulsa’s KTUL radio station representing the Page Milk Company. Her career skyrocketed with her popularity. In addition to her sweeping musical career, Page was featured on all three major networks with her many television appearances.

“We are thrilled to celebrate this year’s Destination Claremore with such an outstanding performance about one of our own legends”, said Tanya Andrews, executive director, Claremore Convention & Visitors Bureau. “The musical portrays Patti’s life, through the good times and bad, as well as her struggles and triumphs. It is so important, especially for our younger residents, to understand what this Claremore native has done for the entertainment industry, for her hometown, and for her home state.”

FLIPSIDE will premier May 3 during at matinee at 4pm, at the Robson Performing Arts Center; and again on May 4 at 7:30pm. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at the Robson PAC or online at www.myticketoffice.com. Group rates are also available for a group of 10 or more; these are handled only at the Robson PAC.

Destination Claremore kicks off April 27 and runs through May 5, with events taking place daily. This year will be exceptional with popular events like Taste of Claremore, American Cowboy’s Traders Days, Wooly Weekend, Route 66 Cruise-In, Lilac Festival, Antiques & Craft Show, Derby Day and the Dog Iron Poker Run all returning. New this year is the meet-n-greet and book signing with famous author Michael Wallis, April 30 at the JM Davis Arms & Historical Museum; and Derby Hats & High Tea at the Belvidere Mansion.

Presenting sponsors are RCB Bank, Cherokee Casino Will Rogers Downs, and with the assistance of the Oklahoma Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts. The Robson PAC and BancFirst are the Heritage Sponsors, and TTCU is a Conversations Sponsor. The full event is hosted and coordinated by the Claremore Convention & Visitors Bureau.
