The Collinsville High School Wrestlers continued their successful 2012 season by adding the 5A Eastern Regional Title Saturday at Claremore and qualifying 10 wrestlers for the state tournament. -- (Photos and weight/placement info submitted by Emily Underwood 2/18/2012).
Collinsville Wrestling Team 1st Place at 5A Eastern Regional -- State Qualifiers (Top 4 at each weight): Jeffries (106 1st), Harding (126 1st), Helm (132 1st), Steltzlen (138 1st), Abkemeier (152 1st), Priddy (195 1st), Moody (113 3rd), Barton (160 3rd), Jordan (120 4th), & Patton (170 4th). -- Ted 11:40pm Sat Feb. 18, 2012
Cards taking 10 wrestlers to state wrestling tournament. 6 in the championship finals and 4 in the consolation finals. Wrestling will start tonight at 6 o'clock for the medal round. -- Jim Riley -- Sat. 2/18/2012
Cardinals put 6 in regional finals. Davion Jeffries, GW Harding, Dylan Helm, Will Steltzlen, Zach Abkemierer and Keenan Priddy have stamped their ticket to the state wrestling tournament by winning their semi final matches at the Class 5A Eastern Wrestling Regionals in Claremore. -- Jim Riley 2/17/2012
