Cora Udilla Keith had just 3 flames to blow out on her 100th birthday cake with a candle in each of the 3 digits. A large gathering of family and friends helped her celebrate the milestone one day early (Saturday) with her birth date of Feb. 19, 1912. Udilla moved to Collinsville in 1924.
Udilla's surviving children (Carolyn Smith and Felix Keith) joined her in this birthday celebration photo Saturday Feb. 18, 2012. She has survived her husband Raymond and their two eldest children (Ima Jean and Raymond).
A group of Udilla's descendants (below) provided a musical tribute led by Felix Keith (with the guitar right).
Dorothy Worstell (in red) was seated next to Udilla as she greeted guests Saturday at the CHS Commons. Dorothy is nearing the centry mark also as she was born in 1917.
