GRDA Electric Express rolls into Collinsville |

11/16/2011 GRDA teamed with the Collinsville Electric Department to bring the learning experience to town. Children had an opportunity to generate electricity while riding a bike, and also got to see GRDAs hot dog cooker safety demonstration up close. Meanwhile, the Collinsville Crew demonstrated the tools of their trade, used everyday to keep the power flowing across the public power community of Collinsville. The City of Collinsville owns and operates its own electric distribution system and purchases its wholesale electricity from GRDA. |
