Ethan Cole (#24) with good gain in the 2nd quarter.
Cole Dugger (#28) prepares to handoff as the 4th grade lineman prepare to block.
The 4th grade cheerleaders still had a Halloween type appearance the night after that event.
Two 4th grade Collinsville defenders had their hands on this interception in the 2nd quarter. Taylor Olinghouse (#14) ended up with it and nearly scored but a block in the back penalty wiped that out. The play stopped a Hilldale threat in Collinsville territory.
Brayden Burd (#22) scored for Collinsville in the 2nd quarter on this touchdown run. He also ran in the extra point play for a 7-0 lead with 1:16 left before half-time.
Hilldale scored on this play with a short pass and then a lateral to a trailing back just as the Cardinal defender took down the pass receeiver. That play covered 70+ yards. Hilldale's pass attempt was incomplete on theconversion try and Collinsville kept a 1-point lead at 7-6 with 7:42 left in the game.
