Hannah's Helping Hands, Inc. — Our Mission
We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization providing financial assistance to families with children battling cancer. Many families need help with the most basic needs for their families during this fight for their child’s life. Some must leave work for months and even years to care for their sick child and the financial loss can be devastating. Our goal is to help as many families being treated locally as possible. We help with basic needs such as gas & food cards, groceries, wigs, utility payments, prescriptions, medical co-payments, rent/housing as well as other expenses. Our referrals come from doctors, nurses and staff at a local children’s hospital in Tulsa as well as our local communities.

"Effort" -- Wilson Character Kids

Wilson Elementary has begun studying the character trait of "effort". Effort means doing one's best in an endeavor. We also like a quote about effort - "The difference between try and triumph is a little "umph." (Author Unknown)

1st and 2nd grade classes have chosen students who exemplify the character trait of effort.

Wilson Elementary McTeacher Night
Wilson Elementary McTeacher Night was a great success even though the weather was cold and rainy, our community came out and supported our efforts. We sold over 500 pies donated by McDonalds, raffled off a Miniature remote control GATOR donated by P & K equipment and received 20% of the revenue between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29. These generous activities along with hard work earned Wilson Elementary $2850.00. We had a goal of earning enough to purchase "Safari Montage", a computer software resource program, which is already being utilized by the Wilson Staff and students. Thank you McDonalds, Mr. Tim Rich, Harry and Beverly Lossing, P & K Equipment and our wonderful Collinsville community.
