Dear Community of Collinsville,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the community, our administration and faculty at Collinsville, the Staff Development Committee, the businesses, and the Collinsville Education Foundation for their support and kind words since being awarded District Teacher of the Year. Our staff development committee has worked diligently to make this honor very meaningful to its recipient. The generosity of everyone has been amazing. I was presented a lifetime membership to the Collinsville Education Foundation along with cash awards, gift cards and a gift basket filled with wonderful goodies. I have had the opportunity to teach in a community that values education and with a staff second to none.
I have mailed my portfolio for the state competition. I hope to represent Collinsville well and look forward to sharing my feelings about our community and school system with colleagues from around the state.
I would like to acknowledge those contributing to the District Teacher of the Year awards.

8U & 10U Baseball All-Stars

The Collinsville Youth Baseball had their All Star Games last weekend (May 29th) held in Skiatook. The Collinsville 8 & Under (coached by Tommy Jefferson) and the 10 & Under (coached by Kerry Jackson) teams both won their games against Skiatook. They then had a home run derby after and Kenton Rollston (age 10) won the 10 & Under. He hit 11 home runs to win a $150 gift card to Academy Sports.

The playoffs are this coming week in Skiatook and Collinsville from 6-?? Monday-Friday.
