8, 2010 Dear Community of Collinsville, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the community, our administration and faculty at Collinsville, the Staff Development Committee, the businesses, and the Collinsville Education Foundation for their support and kind words since being awarded District Teacher of the Year. Our staff development committee has worked diligently to make this honor very meaningful to its recipient. The generosity of everyone has been amazing. I was presented a lifetime membership to the Collinsville Education Foundation along with cash awards, gift cards and a gift basket filled with wonderful goodies. I have had the opportunity to teach in a community that values education and with a staff second to none. I have mailed my portfolio for the state competition. I hope to represent Collinsville well and look forward to sharing my feelings about our community and school system with colleagues from around the state. I would like to acknowledge those contributing to the District Teacher of the Year awards. Collinsville

Looking for a photo to fill this spot ... I found this photo I took about a week and a half back with some unknown birds flying in formation. The dark corner is the shading in my windshield. -- Ted Wright -- 6/8/2010 |
