Progress On City Park Improvements
The top two photos sample park improvement progress today (April 12. 2010) and the photos below are from Thursday April 8th. The top photo shows the leveled skate park area. The next photo show the area where the play ground and splash park equipment will eventually be located. The middle photo below show the new parking area just off 19th Street.

Collinsville Police Chief Retires -- 35 Years In Law Enforcement
Collinsville Police Chief Charlie Annis was joined by his former officers and many other City employees April 7th at a surprise retirement party at City Hall. Charlie has headed the Collinsville Police Department for the past 7 years and has completed 35 total years in law enforcement.
Officer Daniel Boggs made the presentation of police memorabilia and a flag that had flown over the Oklahoma State Capitol to retiring Chief Annis.
Chief of Police -- City of Collinsville, OK -- The City of Collinsville seeks an experienced, innovative and proven executive to serve as Chief of Police. The Chief of Police performs a variety of complex administrative, supervisory and professional work in planning, coordinating, directing and supervising the activities of the Police Department. Successful candidates will have at least a five (5) year minimum of upper management experience of a municipal law enforcement agency, a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a law enforcement related field and CLEET certified.
