Tommy Salisbury Signs For John Deere Tech Program
CHS Senior Tommy Salisbury signed up Friday April 2, 2010 for the Fort Scott (Kansas) Community College John Deere Tech Program. The two year program is designed to upgrade the technical competence and professional level of incoming dealership technicians. Tommy is already employed by PK Equipment in Bartlesville. Joining Tommy at the CHS signing Friday were his parents, Nikki and Rick Salisbury (seated) and standing L-R: Rusty Pointexter (CHS), Ryan Eckhardt (PK Equipment), Jon Coleman (CHS Principal), and Ken Chronister (CHS).
Discover Oklahoma Vists Collinsville For "Twenty Things To Do On Highway 20"
To Air May 1st
"Integris Discover Oklahoma" with the Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation Department made stops in Collinsville Friday April 2, 2010 at the Silver Dollar Cafe and Newspaper Museum In Collinsville. They were filming for a program scheduled to air May 1st titled "Twenty Things To Do On Highway 20". Silver Dollar Cafe owner Dale Stotts was being interviewed (above) before the busy lunch crowd arrived.
Producer Dino Lalli (left) conducted the interviews while videographer/editor Tommy Evans filmed some of the interesting things to do in Collinsville. Dino indicated there might be a stand alone segment at a later date (after the May 1st program) for the Newspaper Museum In Collinsville where they also filmed Friday.
