Slow
Down ... The Police Are Watching |
Ted, I live on Union Place and I do agree that drivers need to slow down on 19th Street in the mornings while the elementary kids are waiting to get on the bus. But I would like your readers to know that there has been police presence lately. There has been a police car there pointing North almost every morning for the last couple of weeks and I have seen numberous cars pulled over. I understand the police cannot be there every day due to other responsibilities, so I would like to thank them for trying to keep our kids and other drivers safe. -- Thank you, Connie Collis (9/23/2009) -- Previous Coverage |
CHS
Homecoming Dance |
Ted, FCCLA just wanted to let all the high schoolers know about the homecoming dance, right after the football game on friday. Admission is $5, and it's in the CHS. Commons, refreshments will be served, and the festivities will go on until midnight with police on site for the evening. Our homecoming queen, Jenny Dyer will even be attending ! -- FCCLA VP, Sara Lisowski (9/23/2009) |
Tulsa
World Game Face Contest (at CHS Homecoming Game) |
The Tulsa World will be at the CHS homecoming game Friday (Sept. 25th) to take pictures of super spirited fans. Let have everyone come spirited to the game and go by the Tulsa World booth. -- Thanks Chas (9/24/2009) |
