September Patchwork Quilters
Tonya Rosamond proudly displays a quilt she recently completed - only the second one she's ever done!
The Collinsville Patchworkers met September 8, 2009 at the Library, and welcomed guest Willa Cross. Members donated several quilts for the Cherokee Child Welfare organization, as well as Newborns In Need. Rosie Vaught distributed pre-cut squares for the quilt that is being made for the American Legion's Roof Fund, and shared plans for the over-all design and construction. The fabric drawing was won by Martha Strickland, and door prizes were won by Tonya Rosamond and Chris Pierce. Next meeting will be October 13, with a Sew-In scheduled for Oct. 17.
