Team Garage Sale
This weekend the VooDoo Girlz (12U Competitive Softball Team) will be having a Team Garage Sale with 12 families participating! There are two local girls on the team, Micala Norris & Rachel Griffin. The team is raising money to go to Springale Arkansas in June to participate in the Pitch for The Cure tournament to raise money for cancer research. -- Mary Jo Griffin (5/28/2009)
Route 66 Sidetrip?
I don't know where they had been or where they were going, but a caravan of at least six identically painted Route 66 RVs traveled east through downtown Collinsville Tuesday afternoon May 26th. Each vehicle had a different family name on the side. -- Ted
Collinsville Fairboard meeting on Monday (June 1) at the Collinsville Library, 7pm.
By lunchtime Wednesday (May 27th) the CHS hallways and lockers were empty as the kids were gone for summer. The teachers held a reception for their departing CHS Principal Cory Slagle.
