Morgan Roberts recently competed at the OKLAHOMA HS Rodeo state finals in Duncan OK. She won the title of Miss Oklahoma High School Rodeo Queen 2009.

She will now represent Oklahoma at the National High School Finals in Farmington, NM July 17-July 26. She will be competing against girls from all over the United States, Canada, and even Australia. She will be required to do a written test, 3 Horsemanship patterns, speech, modeling, impromptu and personal interview. Morgan is thrilled and honored to be able to represent Oklahoma and would love to bring home the title of National High School Rodeo Queen, which would be her next dream come true.

Morgan is having a fireworks fundraiser located on Memorial between 126th and 136th to help pay for some of her expenses. Morgan is also having a Coronation Ball Dinner and Auction July 10 @ 6:30 p.m. in the H.S. commons. The cost for tickets is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 10 and under. All proceeds will go to her expenses for the year.

Morgan is the 16 year old daughter of George (Porky) and Dana Roberts and the granddaughter of Larry and Marilyn Hardacre, Jeff and Nancy Fitts, George Roberts Sr., and Evelyn and Steve Klahr. She is the oldest sibling to Austin, Maddy, and Walker. If anyone is interested in sponsoring Morgan please call 638-4461.

"Thank you for all the prayers and support that I have already been given and I will do my best to bring home the title." -- Morgan Roberts
