East-West
All Star Game |
These
Collinsville boys played in an All Star Game in April, it was the East VS the
West. These boys were chosen by the parents and the coaches to play on the team.
The did a good job and won the game 10-5. After the game there was a homerun derby
where all 24 boys competed. Our very own Nicholas Taylor-Jensen won the derby.
The boys all got a t-shirt with their name on it and Nick got a $150.00 gift card
to Academy for winning the derby. We are very proud of these Collinsville boys.

Year Old Mountain Climber |
Gene Pelizzoni (left, with his daughter Kylie CHS 2007 at senior night Oct, 2006 on Sallee Field above ) has been on the Channel 2 TV news recently after an attempt to climb Mt. Everest with his son Ryan (CHS 2003). |

Mt. Everest Expedition: Nepal BC Trek w/Lobuche Peak. Team with Gene Pelizzoni & Ryan Pelizzoni |
2006 Alaska Climb Mt. Bona: "May 26-June 6. Due to the small size of the group and crevasse concerns on the lower glacier, the team opted for the normal route via the Klutlan Glacer. Unfortunately, they were turned back early. Congratulations to the participants and guide: Timothy Boggs, Gene Pelizzoni, Ryan Pelizzoni, guide Ben Marshall" |
Ted Note: I couldn't find a KJRH link but saw the video story on Chan 2 June 4th and 6th at 10pm. The news segment indicated Mr. Pelizzoni was a Tulsa resident. |

Holiday |
The windows at the Collinsville Family Pharmacy are set for a real holiday (Independence Day next month) but the Hogs 'N' Hot Rods event in downtown Collinsville June 13th will also have a holiday-like flavor. |
