Curtis Leon Hadley, 78, of Collinsville, OK passed away Saturday, July 4, 2009 in Tulsa. He was born March 29, 1931 in Leedey, OK to Gerald Arvin and Georgia Isabelle (Murphy) Hadley. He moved to the Collinsville area 73 years ago at the age of 5. He met and married Donna Clark in 1950. Together they raised 2 children. Curtis worked as a Home Builder until his retirement. Some of his former employers included Oral Roberts University and Phillips. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, where he taught Sunday school and was a Board Member. One of his hobbies included woodcarving, in which he was a member of the Northeast Oklahoma Woodcarvers. He also liked working cattle. Curtis’ main enjoyment was playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Curtis Hadley is survived by his wife of 58 years, Donna Hadley of the home; 2 children, Leon Hadley and his wife Debbie and Donita Lowe and her husband Scott all of Collinsville; 1 sister, Dorothy Hawkins and her husband Fred of Bartlesville; 6 grandchildren, Shawn Hadley, Shannon Flanagan and her husband Mike, Shane Hadley and his wife LaDawn, Tyler Lowe, Brandon Lowe, and Carter Lowe; 8 great grandchildren, Brianna, Rachel, Cole, and Georgia Hadley, Trent and Ashley Flanagan, Makenzie and Ethan Hadley; nieces and nephews family and friends. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Georgia Hadley and 1 sister Rlena Evans.

Visitation for Curtis will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at the Collinsville Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Tim Odom officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery. Under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

A Memorial Fund in Curtis' honor has been set up at Bank of the Lakes: Curtis Hadley Memorial For Native American Ministries, Inc.
