Linsey Curtis has signed to play softball at Rogers State University in Claremore. Linsey signed Jan. 14th between her parents Robert and Regina Curtis (seated) and new RSU Head Coach Mark Dicus (standing center) flanked by CHS Coaches Mike Henry and Rhonda Rogers. Linsey was named All-State after helping to lead the Collinsville Lady Cardinals back to the Softball State Tournament in 2008 with her torrid hitting and glove work at first base. Linsey will be the only softball RSU Hillcat from Collinsville next year but follows in the trail blazed by former Collinsville players Kelli Dunagan and Taylor Whisenhunt in the relatively new college sports program.

Previous Collinsville Coverage:

Linsey Curtis is still busy with CHS basketball. The photo at left shows her taking a shot in front of the large photo in the CHS gym of the 2005 State Champion Softball team that Linsey was a member of.

The 2009 graduate pages are still in progress (for May 2009 release) but Linsey's page already has softball, basketball, track, yearbook, powder puff football, mud volleyball and chorus photos in place.
