Chris
Kaiser from the University of Tulsa / FCA addressed the Cardinal Football banquest
quests. His interesting program included "proof" that (Biblical) Peter
was a "lineman".
CHS
Head Football Coach Lance West discussed expectations for the upcoming season
(the last in 4A) and the transition to 5A next season. His chart showed the basis
of the Code Red Philosophy that drives all the his players do on the field and
hopefully off the field also. West stated that he heard all too often this summer
the question of how this year's team would do after losing such a talented group
of (2009) seniors? West stated this year's group of hard working Cardinals would
be "just fine" and that next year they would be "a team to reckon
with" in 5A also.
Tim
Wood thanked the many sponsors who have supported the CHS football thus far for
the 2009 season. The 1st annual banquet was held at the Bailey Education Foundation
Center in Owasso.
These
2009 Cardinals seated guests and waited tables to support their team.
A
variety of Cardinal merchandise will be available at the the home games (&
"Meet the Cardinals" night).
