The
Collinsville City Commission met
Monday Oct. 20th (at the City Hall
Community Room, 106 N 12th Street) for a 7pm regular of the Municipal
Authority & City Commission.

Consideration and possible action relating to a request for Commission approval
of the Consent Agenda. All matters listed under Consent are considered
by the City Commission to be routine and will be enacted by one motion. Any Commissioner
may, however, remove an item from the Consent Agenda by request. A motion to adopt
the Consent Agenda is non-debatable.
A. Approval of Claims and Payroll.
5. New Business (New Business is any item of business which could not have
been foreseen at the time of posting of the agenda.)
6. Adjournment.

3. Consideration and possible action relating to a request for Commission approval of the Consent Agenda. B. Approval to close Main Street on Tuesday
November 11, 2008 from 9th street to 14th street from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
for the annual Veterans Day Parade.
4. Discussion, consideration and possible action on items removed from the Consent Agenda.
5. Discussion, consideration and possible action relating to a request for adoption of Ordinance No. 821, an ordinance relating to building regulation and codes, Part 5, Chapter 3 of the Code of City Ordinances of the City of Collinsville, Oklahoma, amending section 5-306, fees, expiration, providing for severability, repealing all ordinances in conflict therewith and declaring an emergency and effective date. -- approved (I missed the discussion and items above ... due to a museum tour by scouts) -- Ted
6. Discussion, consideration and possible action of Emergency Clause pertaining to Ordinance No. 821. -- approved
7.
Discussion, consideration and possible action relating to a request for adoption
of Ordinance No. 822, an ordinance relating to building regulation and codes,
Part 5, Chapter 2 of the Code of City Ordinances of the City of Collinsville,
Oklahoma, amending Section 5-205, registration fee, expiration, providing for
severability, repealing all ordinances in conflict therewith and declaring an
emergency and effective date. -- approved (includes at least
a $25 late renewal penalty) from discussion on item 5 above.
8. Discussion, consideration and possible action of Emergency Clause pertaining or Ordinance No. 822. -- approved
9. Discussion, consideration and possible action on Christmas decoration. -- There are no arms (yet) on the new light poles downtown. City Manager Pam Polk suggested a string of lights on the buildings top outlines downtown for this holiday season. Building owner approval would be requested. Ribbons on the poles would also be considered. -- approved
10.
City Manager Report. -- Pam Polk reported on the following
topics:
* Taste of Collinsville is Oct 23rd
* Angela & Lori attended
City Clerk/ Treasurer conference
* GRDA Customer Conference / traing in Tulsa
was attended by Polk, Porter and the electrical dept.
* Collinsville hosted
a city manager's meeting here & discussed possible training savings by a cooperative
group training locally for NE Okla instead of each traveling outside the area..
