17) Superintendent's Report.
-- Pat Herald's report:

  • OSSBA meeting Oct. 21st at Skiatook for board members
  • Still hearing interest in school property on north 15th. One potential developer swap is less viable with economic concerns. The site is only 7 1/2 acres with 10-12 acres being the current minimum need for a school site with current regulations. The decision to sell or hold has not yet been made.
  • With 31 Smart Boards due to arrive soon, the school may hire technical support from the supplier to speed their installation.
  • Congratulations to the CHS Band for their success at Glenpool. A marching contest here is being considered with the new field turf ... as well as hosting playoff games.
