The
CHS football, cheerleader & band seniors were recognized during Friday's pre-game
activities. Individual photos with their folks will appear ~May 1st on this cvilleok.com
web site when their senior pages are completed. Contact wrightted@aol.com
if you want to order a print before then. -- Ted The
trumpets provided the National Anthem.
The
CHS Cheerleaders took the crowd back to the 1950s and the CHS Band performed their
annual light show at halftime.
The
colorful halloween costumes worn by the color guard and other band members were
not obvious after the lights were turned out for the light show version of their
"Art of the Squiggle" marching program that placed them 3rd in the 4A
State competition Oct. 25th at OBA.
Steven
Majike (#36) made the defensive stop on this play in Vinita's 3rd quarter opening
possession.
Collinsville
relied on direct snaps to Kyle Rush (#32) during their initial 3rd quarter possession.
The Cards moved quickly from their own 31 to Vinita's endzone in 8 plays. Rush
handed off to Billups and Salisbury on two of the carries but covered most of
the yardage himself including the final yard at 6:57 in the 3rd quarter. Crutcher's
kick was good for a 20-0 score.
