The Collinsville Crimson Cadets participated in the 18th annual Blue/Grey Marching Classic hosted by Glenpool High School on Saturday, October 4, 2008.

24 bands from Oklahoma competed in classes 2A through 5A Trophies/captions were awarded for first, second, and third place in each category.

Collinsville Band won grand champion and 1st place in all categories and captions including:
Overall Grand Champion out of all 24 bands
High Point Award out of all bands
Class 5A first place band
1st Place Outstanding Colorguard
1st Place Outstanding Drumline
1st Place Outstanding Drum Major

The high school band did very well as you can read in the executive summary (above) These results are due to a combination of efforts and support from students, parents, administration, band boosters, and community. We are fortunate to have such a supportive staff and community.

Warmest regards,
Bruce Roberts for Ron Lewis (10/6/2008)
L-R: Jennifer Lutz, Cameron Storm, Michael Kirwin, and Kelci Lewis accepted the trophies for the CHS Band Saturday at Glenpool.
