The final draft of
the 2009-2012
Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is now available for review.
INCOG develops the TIP in cooperation with ODOT, the Metropolitan Tulsa
Transit Authority (MTTA), airports, and local governments within the Tulsa
Transportation Management Area (TMA). The TIP presents a program of improvements
to the surface transportation system within the Tulsa TMA to be implemented
during a four-year period with federal matching funds. Additionally, Tulsa
Transit relies on the MPO (INCOG) public involvement process for the TIP
to satisfy FTA program of projects (POP) public involvement requirements.
The document can be reviewed at the INCOG website: http://www.incog.org/transportation/documents/TIP2009_2012.pdf. A hard-copy version is available at the INCOG office (201 W 5th Street, Suite 600, Tulsa OK 74103) during normal business hours.
The plan will be reviewed during the Transportation Technical Committee meeting May 21 and the Transportation Policy Committee meeting May 29. Both meetings will be held at 10 a.m. in the INCOG conference room (201 W 5th Street, fifth floor).
If you have comments on the final draft or questions about the review process, please submit them by phone (918.584.7526), mail (address above), email (transportation@incog.org), or fax (918.583.1024). Comments must be received by noon on June 12. The final plan will be reviewed at the INCOG Board of Directors meeting on June 12 at 1:30 p.m. in the Tulsa Central Library. Thank you for your interest in the transportation system in the Tulsa area. |
