When CHS Chorus Director Bob Humble (already swamped with preparing the chorus for their up coming musical) was approached by 2008 CHS senior Chris Pelton about the possibility of a year-end banquet, he decided to just let Chris run with the idea on his own. The results were impressive with the banquet held Saturday May 10th at the Bailey Education Center in Owasso. The meal was served with a large screen slide show of chorus activities from recent years. There was also a video version of one of the songs from the latest concert. Sophomore C.J. Flynn assisted Pelton with the banquet arrangements and preparation.

Directors Humble and Peggy Cooper were recognized for their efforts as were each of the 2008 seniors.

It is hoped the banquet can become an annual event. It was also suggested that chorus parents and friends consider establishing a booster organization for the chorus.
