Hey Ted, I just wanted to let you know about a terrible accident that happened to a 1994 Graduate of CHS, Russell Wright's little boy, Aidan. About a month ago, 2 year old Aidan nearly drowned and is still in the hospital in North Carolina slowly recovering. The entire story as well as updates from Russell and his wife Erin can be found at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/aidanwright Thanks, Kim Thompson (3-17-2008) |

Injured Troops
in Iraq Need Help (A Request By Julie Dermody) |
When soldiers are
wounded in Iraq , they are taken to the hospital where their clothing
is removed and they are given a hospital gown. (The kind that is slit
up the backside) The trek to the hospital does not include stopping
and getting an extra set of clothing ~ so our Heroes are left standing
around with their bare bottoms playing peek-a-boo with every step they
take. |
Cub Scout Pack 898 Den 1 toured the Newspaper Museum In Collinsville Monday March 17, 2008. Jonathan, Michael and Parker learned a bit a newspaper and Collinsville history. |
"Jersey"
Was Actually "Sally" |
|
A
great story....we found the owner of "Jersey" who we have
had at WWAH since Feb 11th. Her owner lives in OKC and was thrilled
to get his dog back Saturday March 15, 2008. Jersey's real name is Sally. If
we had not been a no kill facility, his dog would not have been alive
for him to find. -- Susan
