The golf girls placed 1st in the Vinta tournament on Wednesday. Brittni Schmauss placed first with a 91, Amy Garrett placed 4th with a 96, and Paige DeLozier placed 7th with a 99. The over all total was a 391. There are pictures attached of Brittni, Paige, Amy, Katelin, and Emilee. And one picture of Paige from the Claremore tournament that didn't make it to you.

The outline of the new curb edge for the City Hall Plaza at 12th & Main became evident with removal of the old asphalt pavement & underlying bricks as the Downtown beautification project continues.
I had my first ever visit inside the caboose at the Depot Museum Wednesday as a group of citizens, city and Historical Society representatives met to discuss paint colors and how to attack the problem of getting the depot and caboose repaired and ready for painting. -- Ted (More 3/29)

Lots happening in Collinsville and I hate having a story that is a week old not online yet (with my goal of same or next day coverage) ... so decided to give you a preview of what stories I have in progress.

The Channel 2 visit Tuesday caused me to spend long overdue time cleaning up the newspaper museum ... and with the spring weather you might consider scheduling a tour before the summer heat.

Roadway work continues to connect to the new Main Street bridge. This section of dirt is near Karen's Kountry Kitchen and Brinkley's Auto Sales. There is a temporary back door entry behind Miller's Sinclair (off 5th Street) to reach these two businesses until Main Street is no longer blocked.
