Creek was back to a trickle under the new bridge after being out of its banks
just 2 days before.
The
concrete surface of the new Main Street Bridge was being poured Thursday March
20, 2008.
The
freshly poured concrete had some type of white power applied to the surface
which made it appear much more dry than it really was when I took these photos
at about 1:30pm Thursday March 20th. -- Ted
This
pavement "eating" machine continues to remove and grind up the old
Main Street pavement between the new bridge and 5th Street.
Don
Brinkley was out working to remove dust from his cars which are needing customers
to brave the construction zone challenges. Same story for Karen's Kountry Kitchen
... and the businesses on the other side of the future bridge.
Even
if the bridge were ready for traffic there is no roadway connection yet.
