Oologah had the bases loaded with no outs in the first inning of game one here Thursday. Collinsville got a force at the plate and tried for an out at 1st also but Oologah scored on the next throw back to the plate. That was the only run scored in game one. Lady Cardinal pitcher Kylee Cole struck out the next two batters to escape the first inning without further damage.

Jessie Henry made a diving catch in shallow center field for the final out of Oologah's half of the 5th inning (of game one) and saved a run.
This was as close as Collinsville came to scoring in the first game but Mariah McElroy was forced out at the plate. Singles by McElroy & Linsey Curtis and a walk by Kristie Moore had the bases loaded with 1 out.
Kylee Cole pitched the first game and the final innings of the second game Thursday.
Abby Miller pitched into the 3rd inning of the second game.
I missed the first 2 & 1/2 innings of the 2nd game with Collinsville up 2-1 before Oologah had back to back doubles in the 3rd inning to tie at 2-2 then took the lead (above) at 2-3.
Brittni Schmauss was safe at the plate on a passed ball to pull the Lady Cards within a run at 3-4 in the 4th inning of game two. Three walks had loaded the bases with two outs.
A Mariah McElroy double in the 6th inning of game two sent Brittni Schmauss and Rachael Pitts (above) home to tie the score at 5 each. Lacey Cook scored on the next play to put the Cards up at 6-5. Oologah's leadoff batter in the 7th hit a homer to tie it back up at 6 each.
Mariah McElroy scored the winning run in the 8th inning of the second game. Mariah had walked with 2 out. Linsey Curtis followed with a walk. Kylee Cole's RBI single scored McElroy for a 7-6 lead.
