Collinsville's (1st year)
cross country track team had enough fingers on one hand to show their 5th
place finish in the 4A State Meet held Saturday Oct. 27th at Edmond. According
to Coach Arlin Stacy: "The girls were very excited. We beat teams
that were highly ranked and had better times than us all season. To go from
sixth in our region to fifth in the STATE was quite an accomplishment. The
girls all peaked at the right time. Each one ran for a personal record. You
could tell their hearts were really in it. They stepped up when it mattered
most. I was extremely proud of them! It was a great ending to a special inaugural
1st OKC Bishop McGuiness, 2nd Harrah, 3rd Tulsa Bishop Kelly, 4th Shawnee,
5th Collinsville, 6th Pryor, 7th Edmond Deer Creek, 8th Guthrie, 9th
Booker T. Washington, 10th Stilwell, 11th Tulsa Edison, 12th OKC. Western
Heights, 13th Durant, 14th OKC Carl Albert.

Wrestling Tournament at CHS Gym Saturday Nov. 3rd 9am
|We will be having
a 50's Sock-hop on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at 2:20 pm in the Wilson
Cafeteria. Students will bring a canned food item to get in. It is in
celebration of our 50th day of school. -- Karen Bacus, Counselor
|The Varsity Collinsville
Cardinals will host Grove here 7:30pm Friday Nov. 2 for the season's final
game and senior night.
Collinsville track (at the HS) is open to the public when not in use for
school activities. There is a turnstile mid-way on the east side which
can best be reached from the baseball parking lot.
