Up Club Queen Adds Tulsa Fair Title /
No Injuries In School Bus Accident /

Football FB Team Still Undefeated
Miss Tulsa State Fair Round Up Queen -- Shelby Jones (shown above with her Dad at the Collinsville RoundUp Club Dance Sept. 30th after Fall Fest ) added that new title Monday night (Oct. 1st) at the Tulsa State Fair. Shelby is the 2007 Queen of the Collinsville Round Up Club. She is also the current reigning CRRA Queen, Will Rogers Stampede Teen, 1st Runner Up Cavalcade Queen.. She will be competing for the 2008 Collinsville Round Up Club Queen title next Saturday, Oct. 6th. |

No one was injured in a minor school bus-auto accident at the S-Curve just after 11am today (Tues. Oct. 2). The 7th grade athletics group traveling to the HS (from the MS) had some extra excitement today. The bus was soon back in action. |

Stay Undefeated with 12-0 Win Over Wagoner -- The Cardinal JV football team ran their record to 5-0 with a 12-0 win over Wagoner Monday night in Wagoner. The Cardinals lead 6-0 most of the game after a 20 yard TD pass from QB Shane Douglas to Kyle Crutcher mid way throught the 1st quarter. Wagoner had little success against Collinsville's smothering defense until late in the 4th quarter when they mounted a drive that looked like they might take the lead with a score and successful opoint after. However, Cardinal cornerback Alex Goosen ended that threat with an interception that he returned 70 yards for a TD and put the game away. Cardinals 12-0. -- Jim Riley 10-2-2007 |

The CHS JV Football team won their 4th game of the season (Sept. 24th) with a come from behind 16-12 win over Claremore Sequoyah. After falling behind 12-0 in the first half due to some kicking game problems the Cardinals stormed back in the second half with some dominating defense and two scoring drives to take the led. Kyle Crutcher scored both Cardinal touchdowns and Collinsville was able to convert both extra points for the difference. -- Jim Riley 9-25-2007 | ||

The Cardinal JV Football team moved their record to 2-0 with a 10-0 whipping of Catoosa on Monday. Steven Majike nailed a 38 yard field goal in the second period to give Collinsville a 3-0 lead. The Cardinal defense smothered Catoosa for very little if any yards and it looked like the 3 points would hold up for the win. Late in the 4th quarter Shane Douglas scored a touchdown on a 1 yard run giving the Cardinals a 10 pt lead. -- Jim Riley (9-11-2007) | ||
