Josh Borthick (#18) tries to center the ball in front of the Drumright net to either Jarrod Shearer (#25) or Tyler Chronister (#5) in early 1st half action here Friday.
Tyler Chronister's 1st goal at 34:21 in the 1st half put Collinsville up 2-0.
Tyler Chronister's 2nd goal at 3:10 in the 1st half put Collinsville up 6-0.
Tyler Chronister's 3rd goal at 4:01 in the 2nd half put Collinsville up 8-0.
Chris Roberts (#11) got the Collinsville boys on the scoreboard with this goal at 35:51 in the first half. Other Cards in this photo: Zac VanNatta (#6), Jarrod Shearer (#25) & Kyle Lee Smith (#4).
Michael Pitts blasted this penalty kick past Drumright's goalie at 29:02 in the 1st half for a 3-0 Cardinal lead at the time.
Tyler Chronister was fouled in the goal box setting up the Michael Pitts penalty kick below.
Van Moua (#22) moves the ball toward Drumright's goal.
Kyle Lee Smith (#4) scored this Collinsville goal at 4:28 in the 1st half (and another at 1:36 for a 7-0 half time Cardinal lead).
Collinsville goalie George Tyler had several opportunities to get muddy (including a save on a penalty kick late in the game to preserve the shutout) but he also had time to relax as his teammates kept the action on Drumright's end of the field most of the game.
This Drumright free kick went wide of the Collinsville net and defensive wall late in the 2nd half.
Zac VanNatta is just a blur above in the final minutes of the game after I retreated to the press box to keep my camera dry with the rain pretty steady at this point.
Steven Gerber scored Collinsville's 4th goal at 19:47 in the 1st half. (No Photo)
