Be sure to check the due date on your city utility bill this month as it won't be the 16th as it has been for years. All city utility bills are now due on the 10th. -- Ted

Did Not Win Tulsa's 1957 Belvedere
Two individuals with Collinsville listed as their birthplace made guesses on Tulsa's 2007 population in 1957 to try to win the recently dug up (& rusted) 1957 Plymouth Belvedere. Betty Scott (born in 1922) guessed 809,427. George Wedel (born in 1927) guessed 976,712. The heirs of R. E. Humbertson (no Collinsville connection) are the winners of the Belvedere with Humbertson's guess of 384,743 being the closest to the actual 2007 population of 382,457 (per the Tulsa World).

These future CHS Cardinals are playing this summer in the summer league at CHS. There are normally games Monday through Wednesday but there will be more with a tournament this weekend. They were leading Nathan Hale 1-0 in the 5th inning when I left Monday evening. -- Ted -- (Last Summer)
