• Served four terms
• Served when bond issues were passed to build three additions to the high school, two additions to the middle school, Herald Elementary, band building, agriculture building, and many other improvements
• Collinsville schools have one of the lowest student to teacher ratios in Tulsa County. We have been able to keep up with growth by continually passing bond issues and building the facilities needed. The kindergarten and early childhood building will be ready for next school year.
• Being a member of the school board has been challenging and rewarding. Being able to work with the staff and the students has been an outstanding opportunity.
• The school system continues to be the fastest growing school system in Tulsa County so the job is not finished. Working with the Chamber of Commerce has been very important to the success of the bond issues.
• Hiring and keeping the excellent teachers we have, has been the goal of the administration and the board and has been very evident in the high achievements of the students.
• My daughter, Kim, my sons, Terry and Phillip, attended Collinsville schools kindergarten through graduation, My grandaughter, Heather, attended from second through graduation. My grandaughter, Lisa, is a junior and my grandson, Taylor, is a freshman. Collinsville schools have been a big part of our lives and I would very much like to have the opportunity to continue this important work.
