Ted, These are some of the complications that VVEC had to face to try and get power restored. These were located in the Owasso area. Two Rat Terriers Need a Foster Home Until Feb 2008

One is a year old and one is two years old...they are inside and or outside dogs...have all their shots...very loved by their people... but due to moving arrangements need a home for one month. They will bring their own food. Call Susan @ 630-8832 if you would like to foster Rocky and Malika during the month of January.

Also have:
Cali ... 6 months old, cocker and who knows what mix, female, spayed, shots, ...very shy...needs one or two people to love her lots.

Abby... year old lab and who knows what mix, female, spayed, shots, not so shy, loves to please and needs lots of love.

and Gus, lab and who knows what mix, male, neutered, shots ...loves life and makes a great companion...

all three are crate trained and would love a home.

AND....drum roll....Luke, 5 years old, beautiful lab and Brittany spaniel mix, house and crate trained, all shots, neutered, easy to train, is a great pet. Very afraid of fire works and popping fire places, and really wishes his 55 pounds would allow him to be a lap dog. White with brindle markings...a real love.

Just think you can find all these dogs at the Babbitt Hutch and if you adopt or foster one you do not have to keep them if it does not work out...we will take them back...the two rat terriers do need to stay together for the month of January.

Collinsville Animal Shelter

Portions of Broadway were closed Thursaday (Dec. 27th, 2007) as brush crews from Pryor and Bartlesville were removing brush from the curbs. Pickup in other areas of the city may be waiting for months as this will be a slow lengthy process. Volunteer efforts are being organized for January weekends to help speed the process. Contact the Chamber or city or your church to volunteer hours or equipment.

2008 CHS Seniors

I get "senioritis" sooner than most as I start serious work on pages for each year's CHS seniors at least 6 months before graduation. The pages won't appear online until about May 1st. Seniors are invited to submit a few of their own favorite photos for their page to supplement those I may have in my archives from CHS activities ... some back to the 8th grade for this year's kids.
