The CHS softball team has already begun their season with a 9-1 varsity win over Barnsdall Aug. 7th. The JV also won 5-1 at Barnsdall. The photo above shows the Lady Cards practicing just after the team photo session Wednesday (which I was not informed of). I'll try to get a team photo before their home opener next Tuesday (5pm Aug 15) against Cleveland . -- Ted |

The school zone flashing
lights will start on Thurs. Aug. 16th. The flashing lights will be on
from 7 am to 8:10 am and again at 2:15 to 2:45 pm. This zone is directly
in front of the high school. We also have a one way double entrance on
the East side of the campus and a double lane exit on the West side. Parents
who will drop off or pick up their child will need to pull into the south
lane in front of the bell tower. No cars are allowed in the bus lanes
as this creates safety concern with students loading and unloading. The
bus lanes are on the East side of the building running north and south.
School starts at 7:50 am and ends at 2:25 pm. Parents please call Kelli at 371-4802 if your child is not going to be at school. Thanks, Mr. Slagle, Principal (8/8/2007) |
