We want to thank
the following teams for coming to our 1st Annual Collinsville 10 &
under Tournament. Wagoner Heat, Sperry Pirates, Owasso Rangers, Owasso
Rams, Collinsville Sooners, Skiatook Rangers, & Collinsville Cardinals.
This tournament was double elimination which made for a long but fun day
in the sun. There were many very close games and several that went into
extra innings. Congratulations to the following teams:
3rd place- Owasso Rangers. They played 5 games, several back to back to
battle for this position. They are a solid team with Richard Hawkins as
their head coach. Way to go Rangers!!!
2nd place- Skiatook Rangers- This Ranger team played 4 games, also many
back to back. They are a great team coached by Tony Thompson. Congratulations
Rangers!!!
1st place- Collinsville Cardinals- Played 3 games and remained undefeated
throughtout the tournament. Last year the Cardinal team won 1st place
at state. We have only 3 returning players as most of our team moved up
to 12 & under. The team has worked very hard at practices and has
developed into a solid team coached by Ron Koscheski. Currently at 10-0
and having placed 1st in this tournament, this team is off to a great
start. We will be playing in several USSSA qualifying tournaments to try
for back to back state championships. Cardinals are #1!!! |
