Lady Cardinals Up 3-2 Heading Into 3rd Inning ... As I left For JrHi Football
Hayley Rinck (#22) is heading home with the Lady Card's 2nd run in the 1st inning to tie Oologah at 2-2. She advanced on Alissa Wilson's (#1) triple. Alissa's helmet can be seen over the 3rd baseman's head (above) and she slides into 3rd below. She later scored on a passed ball.
Ashley Morris (#26) Pitching
Marysa Trost (#16) blocks the bag and applies the tag at third base.
Rachel Donegan (#11) gets a good look at this chin-high pitch.
Megan Rush (#7) reaches for this Oologah pitch in the 2nd inning.
The JrHi Softball Conference Tourney originally scheduled for Sept. 18 has been postponed to Sept. 25 (in Bristow) as some schools are making up rainouts this week. -- Ted 9/18/2006 (Thanks again to Jeff Trost for the update)
