Has Three Wins In Three Tries ... Hosts Miami Next
"Weight
Lifter" Katie Sullivan is still trying to get that bar over her head in
the CCC Band's Carnival show.
Kelci
Lewis leaping and tumbling in the gymnastic act of the Carnival.
Cardinal
quarterback Tyler Chronister scored the third CHS TD (his 2nd) on this keeper
from 27 yards out at 7:29 in the 3rd quarter. This capped a 60 yard drive with
Aaron Watts and Kyle Rush also contributing yardage to put the Cards up 21-7.
The
"Fortune Teller" (Lydia Plett) made her debut in the Band's Carnival
Friday.
Skiatook's
QB lost the handle on this snap and the Cardinal's Kyle Rush recovered at Skiatook's
31 yard line. A pass over the middle to Kevin Phillips put the Cards at the
21 followed by another Tyler Chronister keeper TD (this one featuring a 360
degree spin move at about the 15 yard line) at 5:20 in the 3rd quarter. Another
good PAT kick put Collinsville up 28-7.
Jarred
Billups (#4) fielded this short Skiatook kickoff near the 30 and set the Cards
up at the 49 after Skiatook closed to 28-14 at 3:03 in the 3rd quarter.
Two
Collinsville defenders pounce on yet another Skiatook fumble. This one was at
their own 11 yard line less than a minute before the end of the 3rd quarter.
Chance Riley was injured on the Cards next play. Collinsville missed a field
goal attempt to end that sequence early in the 4th quarter.
Aaron
Watts (#35) scored a short Cardinal touchdown at 9:29 in the 4th quarter for
a 35-14 score. The drive started with a Justin Hedlund fumble recovery in Card
territory. A long pass to Kevin Phillips and a penalty got the Cards to Skiatook's
6 yard line.
