This weekend the Cardinal
Volleyball team traveled to Oklahoma City to compete in the 5A State Volleyball
Championships. Friday afternoon the Lady Cards played the Catoosa Indians.
Collinsville pulled ahead and beat the Indians in four games with scores of
25-16, 23-25, 25-17, and 25-23.
On Saturday morning the Lady Cards advanced to the semi-finals where they
met up with Bishop McGuinness. Each game had Cardinal fans on the edge of
their seats. The Cardinals lost the first game 25-23, won the second game
26-24, and lost the third and fourth games 25-23 and 25-19.
The Lady Cards played some amazing volleyball this weekend and ended up placing
third at the State Championships.
Congrats on an amazing season!
