Cards play Webster here Friday Oct. 27th
Kyle Lee Smith (#2) is just a few yards from completing this 39 yard TD pass play (from Lane Coulter) on the first play of the 4th quarter Thursday.
Lane Coulter (#7) ran in a 2-point conversion after Smith's TD above and had the Cardinals up 20-6 with almost a full quarter remaining.
Following Collinsville's early 4th quarter score Jay drove from their own 35 down to the Cardinal 2 before being stopped on this 4th down play by a pile of Collinsville tacklers.
After taking over on the 4 yard line Collinville picked up a 1st down out to the 15 but losses left them with 4th and 18 at the 7 yard line. Stephen Gerber (#81) had to scramble to prevent the punt from being blocked and found enough opening to get a punt off (on the run) that ended up at the 50 yard line with 5:16 left in the game.
Kevin Phillips changed the direction of travel for this Jay pass receiver as the ball arrived in the 4th quarter.
Collinsville practiced their tip drill several times on this late 4th quarter Jay pass but after several Cardinals batted it around it finally fell incomplete.
The Collinsville Cheerleaders (& everyone else) did their best to try and stay warm as the temperatures dipped into the 30s during the game at Jay Thursday night.
Jarred Billups (#4) ended the final Jay scoring threat with this interception after Jay reached the Card's 8 yardline with just over 2 seconds remaining.
