Sophomore
Brandi Smith has scooped up a fumble but is surrounded by Freshman defenders.
Lacey
Koscheski made this finger tip pass reception and ran it in for the winning
TD in the finals of the CHS Student Council Powder Puff Football Games Sunday.
The Seniors' come from behind 22-20 win gave them the championship over the
2nd place Juniors.
This
Linsey Curtis pass was caught by Sophomore Kelsi West for a 55 yard TD against
the Freshman in the Game 3 battle for 3rd place. A later Curtis pass to Mariah
McElroy put the Sophomores up 14-0.
Freshman
Paige Delozier managed to get this pass over the rush by Kelsi West but Emily
Harker had already pulled her flag.
Freshman
Paige Delozier zeros in on Kelsi West's flag.
I
missed the 2nd half of game 3 but understand both scored 2nd half TD with the
Sophomores winning the game for 3rd place. -- Ted
Cassie
Smith ran in this touchdown to spot the Juniors to a 6 point lead against the
Seniors in the Championship game.
Junior
Jessica Harper goes up the middle of the Senior defense.
Junior
Jessica Dyer kept her flags but stepped out of bounds on this long run against
the Seniors. The Seniors were ahead at this point by 8-6 in the first half on
a Kaycee Donelson TD.
Junior
Abby Miller is surrounded by Senior defenders.
Junior
Jessica Haper didn't score on this run but scored TDs in both the first and
2nd half to give the Juniors leads at 12-8 and 20-16 in the final game.
After
the Seniors took the lead at 22-20 and about 2 minutes remaining in a continuous
clock game, Kaycee Donelson ran the most unusual extra point play I've ever
seen as she retreated at least 70 yards trying to run out the clock and then
finally (after avoiding all Junior attempts to get her flags) took off and ran
in the 2 point conversion. I don't know if the final should have been 24-20
but had 22-20 in my notes and don't care to update 4 other pages at this point
