Will Speak To Community Church July 30th
A Night of Praise & Thanksgiving
The Collinsville Community Church will hold a special worship service for Travis Pelletier on the night of July 30 at 7:00PM. Travis was a graduate of Collinsville High School in 2002 and recently graduated with a B.S. in Health and Exercise Science from the University of Oklahoma. In August he will start working for an international interdenominational ministry called Campus Crusade for Christ for a year on OU's campus reaching students with the message of Christ. On July 30th Travis will be speaking about what Campus Crusade for Christ is and what he will be doing with the Christian organization. Anyone is welcome to come fellowship, give God praise and also see how you can help support what God will be doing on OU's campus this next year through Travis' ministry. We hope to see you there. If you have any questions about this evening or about Travis' plans for the next year please contact him at (918) 630-5461.
Travis Requests Your Assistance
I have been given an amazing opportunity to be an intern with Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU) on the University of Oklahoma's campus. Campus Crusade for Christ is an international, interdenominational Christian organization that helps turn lost students into Christ-centered laborers and helps current believers grow in their relationship with Christ. Being a college student the past four years has had its shares of ups and downs but most importantly it has given me several opportunities to grow in many ways academically, socially, emotionally, and most importantly, spiritually. I feel since I have been involved with CRU over the last 8 months I have grown tremendously in my own faith through CRU's weekly meetings, bible studies, and 2 mission trips to New Orleans. Along the way I feel I have helped many other classmates grow in their own walk with the Lord as well.

This internship will provide me with an opportunity to grow even deeper into my own personal walk with the Lord and just as important, allow me to reach students on campus to help them come to know the Lord and, beyond that, grow in their own relationship with Him. I will have the unique opportunity of doing this through one on one conversations on campus, CRU's weekly meetings, leading a bible study, conferences and other events. One of the verses that has been inspiring is 2 Timothy 2:2:

" The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also."

My focus this summer is to share my excitement and vision for what God might do next year during my internship. An important part of that is developing a team of ministry partners… people who will give to make this internship possible. I need a total of $1900/month in consistent, financial support and $2500 total in special gifts. As I take this large step of faith, will you prayerfully consider joining my Ministry Partner Team by giving a monthly gift of $50, $100, or any other amount? Of course, any amount would be a huge blessing to me and to the students on campus.

Thank you for considering joining my team to help reach people for Christ at OU this next year.

In Him,
Travis Pelletier
