I have no details other than the initial report that a child was not breathing following debris coming through the windshield of a pickup southbound on Highway 169 near 136th St. North about 10:45am Feb. 15, 2006. Collinsville, Oologah, and Owasso emergency personnel responded as did the Highway Patrol and Lifeflight. One victim was transported via helicopter and another via Collinsville ambulance. Southbound Highway 169 was blocked as the accident scene was worked. -- Ted noon Wed.

KOTV Chan 6 TV News Site & KTUL Chan 8 say a 9 month old infant died in the accident.

Feb. 15 - 5pm FOX Channel 23 News reported the victim's names had still not been released by OHP. OHP also indicated they were still investigating the potential of "failure to secure load" for the trash hauling truck that the debris came from just ahead of the pickup. -- Ted 5:50pm

Feb. 15 6pm KOTV 6 News reported the victim's name and that the infant was from Owasso. They also reported the debris was a church bench from the ECC in Collinsville that had been contracted to be hauled away.
