The Collinsville Lady Cardinals will enter Regionals on the winner's side of the brackets next week at Oologah with an overwhelming 73-18 win over Webster and the District 3 title. Linsey Curtis (#25) can barley force a smile having effectively taken a right cross to the face a few minutes before the end of the game. No foul was called (nor even a stoppage of play) as Linsey was struck while defending a Webster player.
David Chester (#44)
The Collinsville boys had more competition in their Tulsa Webster game needing a last second bucket to regain the lead 19-17 at the end of the first quarter. The Cards then took over with a 32-20 half lead and led 46-27 after 3 quarters. The final score was 60-40.
Mariah McElroy (#33)
Kelsey West (#12)
Kevin Phillips (#10) scored the first points for Collinsville with the layup in the right photo. Kevin then followed with eight 3-pointers (including one from near half court at the half time buzzer) and finished with a game-high 26 points.
