Applications for Post 4 School Board Position Must Be Submitted by September 1st

Due to a vacancy in post #4, the Collinsville Public School Board of Education will accept applications to fill the unexpired term.

An application for vacancy for post #4 may be picked up August 16 through August 28, 2006, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., at the Education Service Center, 1119 West Broadway, Collinsville, Oklahoma, 74021.

The application must be returned no later than Friday, September 1, 2006, for consideration.

The Board of Education will make a decision as early as the September 5, 2006 board meeting, or no later than October 6, 2006.

  • Individual must have resided within the school district for at least 6 months (and within the boundaries of post 4 ... see map below)
  • Individual cannot have been convicted of, or have pled guilty or no contest to, a felony under state or federal law or a misdemeanor involving embezzlement ... within 15 years of completion of sentence.
  • Individual must have been awarded a high school diploma or certificate of high school equivalancy
  • Individual must not be related within the second degree by blood or marriage to a current school district employee or current member of the board of education
