The wind gusts ahead of the front that blew in about 7:15pm Saturday split this tree at 13th and Spring. Spring Street was blocked until city crews could clear it as the rain and lightning were really getting ramped up. -- Ted |

| Barnhardt's (about a block west of 5th & Main) in Collinsville was torn down Thursday and just a pile of rubble remained Saturday. I did get one "old timer" comment that he thought the original building was built in the early 50s instead of mid-40s. (Previous Coverage) |

| The Collinsville PTO and CEF "Fill the Bus" effort to collect school supplies was centered at 5th & Main Saturday morning. Mary Risley brought several sacks of supplies provided by the Collinsville Downtown, Inc. board of directors (below). Many other organizations and individuals also contributed to the effort.
