Teacher's Pig Kiss Delighted Kids
We are very excited about our "KIss the Pig" Fundraiser that was held during March! I ended up being the lucky teacher to SMOOCH the swine! (A black pig that belongs to Jay Miller.) His name was OPRAH! Anyway our class raised a whopping $425.50 and the school raised $1985.57! The kids went wild and it was really a lot of fun! I'm forwarding the picture to you! Thanks for all you do in support of Education here in Collinsville Ted! You are awesome! Have a great day!

Trustees of the Collinsville Education Foundation (and visitors) got to hear how some of the C.E.F. grants are being used to help kids in each of the Collinsville schools. Janice Pollard (ECC) brought one of the heavy duty trikes that the C.E.F. grants funded. Kelly Hamlin (Middle School) showed one of the LCD projectors that her students and teaches use daily. Tommy Nichols (Herald Elem.) and Carol Sallee (filling in for Corsair Thurman at Wilson) both listed many of the grant items put to great use at their schools. All continue to thank the C.E.F. and their supporters for making these yearly grants possible to aid the kids and teachers. Cory Slagle (CHS) was unable to attend but I know he, his teachers and students also appreciate their grants.
